Community Involvement

Visits to Seniors

We have short services in three venues for older folk in supported accommodation.

We visit Abercromby Court in St Monans normally on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10.30am. We begin with coffee/tea and chat then join in singing well known hymns and listen to a short Bible based message.

We also visit Ladywalk House Care Home and Windmill House Nursing Home in Anstruther on a less frequent basis for half-hour services suited to those who are more frail. All these are greatly appreciated.

Holiday Bible Club

Holiday Bible Club

For a week towards the end of the school summer holidays there is the Good News Holiday Club for boys and girls. Children’s workers from elsewhere integrate with locals to provide an interesting programme of Bible stories, singing, quizzes, and craftwork each forenoon for five weekdays. It is very popular and thoroughly enjoyed.

Sea Queen Gala Day

The local Sea Queen Gala takes place at the harbour in mid June each year. Many colourful stalls are set up, among them the Gospel Hall one which displays Bible texts, offers literature and items for children, free or at nominal prices.
